Good to know

Best season

Spring and autumn, for mild temperatures and fewer crowds. Summer works too — start early and plan a swim at the Sterpaia beaches on the way home.

Bike & surface

40% unpaved on smooth white roads and farm tracks. Perfect for gravel bikes and e-bikes; a road bike is not the right tool here.

Water & resupply

Fill your bottles at the public fountain in Suvereto (km 16). Bars and groceries in Suvereto, San Lorenzo (Circolo Arci) and Riotorto (Coop, bakery).

Don't miss

A wine tasting at Tenuta Casadei, right on the route, and the wild beaches of the Sterpaia park before the final kilometres.
