Spring and autumn, for mild temperatures and fewer crowds. Summer works too — start early and plan a swim at the Sterpaia beaches on the way home.
40% unpaved on smooth white roads and farm tracks. Perfect for gravel bikes and e-bikes; a road bike is not the right tool here.
Fill your bottles at the public fountain in Suvereto (km 16). Bars and groceries in Suvereto, San Lorenzo (Circolo Arci) and Riotorto (Coop, bakery).
